Alloy Mag Reconditioning & Treatment Add-On Treatment

Step Process:

 * Inspection & Assessment:

   * A thorough visual inspection of all alloy wheels is conducted to identify any damage, including scratches, curb rash, pitting, and corrosion.

   * The severity of the damage is assessed to determine the appropriate reconditioning methods.

 * Wheel Removal & Preparation:

   * The alloy wheels are carefully removed from the vehicle using professional tire-changing equipment.

   * Tires are safely removed and stored securely.

   * The wheels are then thoroughly cleaned to remove brake dust, dirt, and any loose contaminants.

 * Damage Repair:

   * Minor Scratches & Curb Rash:

     * Hand-sanded using progressively finer grades of sandpaper.

     * Any deep scratches or gouges may require specialized fillers or even minor welding.

   * Pitting & Corrosion:

     * Areas affected by pitting or corrosion are carefully treated to remove the damaged material.

     * This may involve chemical etching, sanding, or specialized techniques.

 * Surface Preparation:

   * The repaired areas are carefully smoothed and blended to ensure a seamless finish.

   * The entire wheel surface is then meticulously prepared for the chosen coating. This may involve:

     * Degreasing

     * Chemical etching

     * Priming (if necessary)

 * Coating Application:

   * The chosen coating is applied in a controlled environment (e.g., a spray booth) to ensure even coverage and optimal adhesion.

   * Options may include:

     * Powder Coating: Durable, long-lasting, and available in a wide range of colors.

     * Liquid Paint: Offers flexibility and can achieve a variety of finishes (e.g., metallic, matte).

     * Ceramic Coating: Provides exceptional gloss, protection from UV rays, and enhanced chemical resistance.

 * Curing & Inspection:

   * The coated wheels are allowed to cure properly according to the manufacturer's instructions.

   * A final inspection is conducted to ensure the quality of the finish, checking for any imperfections or defects.

 * Wheel Reinstallation:

   * Once cured, the wheels are carefully re-mounted on the vehicle using the original or appropriate replacement hardware.

   * Tires are remounted and balanced.

 * Final Quality Check:

   * A final road test is performed to ensure proper fitment and balance.

   * The customer is informed of the completed work and any necessary aftercare instructions.
